于廣州國際照明展同期舉辦的“新世紀LED高峰論壇”主題大會上，The Connected Lighting Alliance(以下簡稱：TCLA)做了無線互聯照明趨勢的分析報告。該報告涉及了無線互聯照明的發展趨勢，家居市場的無線互聯照明，以及共同開放標準的必要性等問題。為進一步探討無線照明的市場機遇，《新世紀LED》記者采訪了TCLA秘書長Mr.Simon den Uijl先生。(本文保留了英文回答部分)

　　Simon: The development of wireless connected lighting will accelerate the market adoption of LED lighting. LED technology brings exciting new functionalities which require innovative control mechanisms. Wireless lighting controls enable users to easily switch, dim, change color, and make group color settings. Customers value the convenience and simplicity of controlling light wherever they are, and the ambiance settings or lifestyle expressions they can create with lighting

　　Simon: 無線互聯照明的發展將加速市場對LED照明的接受。如果加上創新的控制機制，LED技術將帶來令人興奮的新功能。無線照明控制系統使用戶能夠輕松切換、調光、變色，并進行顏色組設置。客戶看重可控光的便捷與簡單，無論在哪里、氣氛怎樣或生活方式如何表達，他們都能夠創造不一樣的光。

　　《新世紀LED》：關于LED未來十年的發展趨勢，您怎么看?

　　Simon: Well, our expertise lies in the trend of wireless connected lighting. We believe the market for wireless connected lighting will develop rapidly in the upcoming years. According to the market research firm ON World, the global shipments of wireless chipsets for lighting controls will increase from 5.5M in 2012 to 44M in 2017, this is 800% growth in 5 years.

　　In terms of revenue, the market for wireless connected lighting products will be 2.4 billion dollar in 2017, whereby 80% of the revenues are generated in North America and Europe. The residential market is leading the shift toward wireless lighting controls. For the residential lighting applications, we believe the market will converge to the ZigBee Light Link standard. According to ON World, almost 50% of the wireless lighting solutions will be ZigBee products.

　　領先這種向無線照明控制方向轉變的是家居市場。對于家居照明應用，我們相信市場將會聚焦到ZigBee Light Link標準。據“ON World”的數據，無線照明解決方案近50%將是兼容ZigBee的產品。

　　《新世紀LED》：“創新”目前在業界已經成為了一種共識，您認為LED企業該如何進行創新?

　　Simon: My point on how to do it, is by differentiating products on features and adhering to market-leading standards in order to create interoperable products. Customers want interoperable products, and this is the only way for the lighting industry to establish a mass market for new innovative products.

　　Simon:我認為首先是要做出差異化的產品功能，并堅持依照市場主導的標準來創造具有可互操作性的產品。消費者希望用可互操作的產品，這是照明行業為創新產品開辟廣泛市場的唯一途徑。

　　Simon: Smart Lighting is an interesting new field. We notice that many manufacturers are incorporating wireless controls and sensors into their products, which enables their products to offer features that go beyond illumination and offer new value added services and solutions. We believe this will unlock new revenue streams for LED businesses in fixtures, bulbs, controls, drivers and modules.

　　My suggestion for LED enterprises is to differentiate on features and adhere to market-leading standards in order to create interoperable products. This especially holds for wireless lighting connectivity.

　　Simon: 智能照明是一個非常有趣的新領域。我們看到很多廠商都將無線控制器和傳感器添加到他們產品中，這使他們的產品的功能遠遠不止于照明，為客戶提供更多附加的服務和解決方案。我們相信這將為照明裝置、燈泡、驅動控制和模組等領域的LED企業開放新的收入來源。
